Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Parkes Plastering Limited (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

Client – any person or business commissioning plastering work.
Services – plastering, reskimming, ceiling work, repair, and related interior surface services.
Agreement – any written quotation, estimate, or accepted proposal between the Company and the Client.

2. Scope of Services

Parkes Plastering Limited provides plastering services for domestic and small commercial properties. Work may include repairs, reskims, ceilings, wall preparation, and decorative finish-ready surfaces. We do not provide structural alterations or construction work outside plastering scope.

3. Quotations and Estimates

All quotations and estimates are based on information provided by the Client and site conditions observed at the time of quotation. Prices may change if additional work is required due to unforeseen conditions.

4. Acceptance of Orders

An order becomes binding once the Client confirms acceptance in writing or verbally, and the Company acknowledges the order. We reserve the right to decline any request at our discretion.

5. Payment Terms

Invoices are payable as stated on the quotation or agreement. Late payments may result in suspension of ongoing work. Payment methods and schedule will be agreed prior to project commencement.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate property details, access arrangements, and relevant site information. We are not responsible for delays or quality issues arising from incomplete or inaccurate information.

7. Site Access and Safety

The Client must provide safe access to the property, ensure working areas are clear, and comply with any health and safety guidance provided. We are not liable for delays caused by unsafe or inaccessible sites.

8. Quality and Inspection

Clients should inspect work upon completion. Any defects or concerns must be reported promptly. Minor imperfections in plastering are inherent to the trade and do not constitute a breach of contract.

9. Liability

The Company shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of use, resale, or decorative delays. Liability for direct loss is limited to the value of the contracted works. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Cancellation and Changes

Changes or cancellations must be communicated in advance. Work carried out prior to cancellation will be invoiced proportionally. The Company reserves the right to charge for materials purchased for the job.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including extreme weather, supply issues, or unforeseen site conditions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
